Andrew Pompa

Andrew Pompa, 53, of Levelland passed from this life on March 20, 2018 at his home. Rosaries will be said at 7:00 pm on March 21 and 22, 2018 at Krestridge Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on March 23, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Andy was born September 27, 1964 in Levelland to parents Juan and Maria Pompa. He graduated from Levelland High School in 1982. He worked in the oil field for Walt Smith before moving to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and working 10 years in construction for Holbrook Construction. From 2009 until 2017, Andy worked for Renegade, and was currently employed by Danos.

In 1999, Andy's life changed due to health issues. He never gave up or gave in. Andy was a fighter and never complained.

He adored his family, especially his nieces and nephews. His favorite hobby was cooking out. Andy loved all music and was an avid concert goer. He was a generous man with a big heart and had a strong faith in the Lord. Andy will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him.

Andy was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Sofia Pompa and Gregorio, Sr. and Florentina Ramirez.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Juan and Maria Pompa of Levelland; brothers, Robert (Mitzi) Pompa of Austin and Marcos Pompa of Levelland; sisters, Marianna (Frank) Murillo of Levelland and Susanna (Florentino, Jr.) Corrales of Levelland; nieces and nephews, April (Jonathan) Sheffield, Dione (Travis) Pompa, Anthony Pompa, Christopher Corrales, Sofia Pompa, Cassandra Corrales, Elizabeth Corrales, Emma Corrales, Dominic Murillo, Melissa Arriaga, Joe Dan Arriaga, Alexis Gavina, and Emily Timian.
