Annette Olivas

Annette Olivas, 62, of Sundown, Texas passed away on May 2, 2025. She was born on July 25, 1962, to Elias Guerra and Eva Contreras in Brownfield, Texas. Anette married Eulogio Olivas on June 11, 1979.  A visitation for family and friends has been scheduled for Tuesday May 6, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, with the Rosary starting at 6:00 PM at Krestridge Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 7, 2025, at St. Michaels Catholic Church beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Sundown Cemetery.

Annette enjoyed spending her days bargain shopping at any store she could get into. She would take breaks to take her grandkids to lunch every chance she got. Annette’s life revolved around her grandkids. They are her pride and joy. Annette attended every recital, every concert, every basketball game, football and softball game, track meet, marching festival front and center to support her family. We know that she will continue to be there just with a better seat and better view.

Annette is survived by her husband: Eulogio Olivas; two sons Nicolas Olivas (Erica) of Sundown and Martin Olivas (Patricia) of Levelland; grandchildren; Aidon (Miriam) Olivas, Michael Ojeda, Autum Olivas, Simara Olivas, A’bree Olivas and Ehtan Olivas; great-grandchildren: Madlynn Olivas, Nicolas Olivas and Isaiah Ojeda; and three brothers: Ricky Guerra, Joe Gutierrez and Carlos Gutierrez.

She is preceded in death by her mother: Eva Contreras and her two sisters: Patricia Gutierrez and Elva Lara.
