Anrique Contreras Sanchez

Anrique "Henry" Sanchez was a caring husband, dad, grandpa , brother and friend.  He left this world unexpectedly on February 27, 2022 at age 58. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 3, 2022, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Anrique was born, February 13, 1964, and raised in Levelland, Texas. He attended Job Corp and graduated with an apprentice electrician license in 1980 but he spent most of his working years in the oil field.

He met his " Maria " in April 2007 and married in July 20, 2013.  They spent their time together playing cards, dominoes, and going to the casinos.  He enjoyed playing sports, spending time with family and his pets Phoebe and Butkis, cheering on his grandkids from the stands, and watching his Cowboys play. 

Anrique was the life of the party, always being his fun, crazy loving self, but words and memories cannot describe the man Anrique was.  He was a man full of life and love.  He definitely left his mark on this world.  We will forever miss and cherish him in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Encarnacion; sisters, Carol and Rosa; and brother, David.

Anrique is survived by his wife, Maria Sanchez; children, Natasha, Neimiah, Nadia and Nathan Sanchez, and Alejandra, Roy and Eli Garcia; siblings, Susan (Gilbert) Gonzales, Jesse (Irene) Sanchez, Janie (Arturo) Velez, Lisa (Angel) Zapata, and Tommy (Bertha) Sanchez; 25 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
