Antonia Lopez

Antonia G. Lopez, 91, of Levelland passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 17, 2017, at Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at St. Michael Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Antonia was born September 2, 1925 in San Marcos, Texas to parents Ramon and Augustina (Mendoza) Gauna. She married Miguel Lopez, Sr. on July 17, 1953 in Clovis New Mexico. Antonia was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and garage sales.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Juan Ramon and Armando; sisters, Trinidad Guajardo, Refugia Nino, Sofia Vargas, and Lupe DeLeon.

Antonia is survived by her children, Mike (Rosa) Lopez, Jr., Benito (Thelma) Lopez, Sr., Irma (Benny) Barrera, Margie Lopez, Patricia Lopez, Albert (Eva) Lopez, Alicia (Johnny) Castillo, Thomas (Mary) Hernandez, Frank (Alicia) Hernandez; brothers, Narciso Gauna, Jr., Luciano Gauna, Ramon Gauna, Jr.; sisters, Dolores Moreno, Valentina Gonzales, Mary Mendoza; 33 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; 35 great great grandchildren; and 3 great great great grandchildren.
