Bill Brown

Billy Glenn Brown, 77, of Levelland passed from this life on September 17, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born August 26, 1941 in Levelland to parents J. Murrell and Mary Marie Brown. Billy attended school in Levelland. He married Karen Nelson on November 10, 1960 in Levelland.

Billy worked at Murrell's Welding Works and became the owner in 1972. He started Brown Specialties in 1983 where he worked until retirement.

He was a 32nd Degree Mason and led singing at the Senior Citizens for many years. Billy loved the Lord and was not bashful about sharing his faith.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen R. Brown; children, Merian Redman of Mt. Morris, Michigan, Bill M. Brown and wife Melissa of Levelland, and Darkus Greeson and husband Jeff of Sundown; sisters, Lybby Brown and Donna Hicks both of Levelland; grandchildren, Alex and Eve Perez, Amber Redman, Kim Sellers, Seth and Ruth Brown, Chance Brown, Payton Newsom, Kennedy Newsom, Mason Newsom, Jeffrey and Sarah Greeson, and Gatlyn Greeson; great grandchildren, Deven Redman, Audrey Sellers, Aria Sellers, Gavin Brown, and Harley Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
