Carla Dewbre

Carla June Dewbre, 69, of Levelland, TX passed from this life on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at a hospital in Lubbock. A Visitation will be held from 5- 7 PM on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Krestridge Funeral Home, 505 Austin Street Levelland, TX 79336. Funeral Services will be held 10AM Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at First Baptist Church, 500 Houston Street Levelland, TX 79336. Interment will follow at Morton Memorial Cemetery.

Carla was born August 13, 1947 to L.S. (Mac) and Norma Kathleen (Denson) McCarty in Littlefield, TX. She was raised in Morton, TX. On May 26, 1968 she married Donnie Michael Dewbre in Morton. Carla worked as a mail room clerk for 29 years at South Plains College. She enjoyed music, friends and family. Carla was a beloved wife, mom, grandmother, and expectant great- grandmother who will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, L.S. (Mac) and Norma Kathleen McCarty; father and mother in-law, R.Z. and Zena Dewbre and son, Dustin Dewbre.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include husband, Donnie of the home; son, Dane Dewbre and wife Jeri Ann of Levelland, TX; daughter, D'Nae Galloway and husband Rusty of Clovis, NM; grandchildren, Ryan Galloway and wife Ashley of Portales, NM, Rylee Galloway of Clovis, NM, Sam and Annie Dewbre of Levelland, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the South Plains College Foundation.
