Carolyn Howard

Carolyn Howard was born December 30, 1941, in Monahans, Texas to Bill and Georgia Roberts.  She married Donald Gene Howard on June 1^st, 1959. They had two sons, Lyndon and Garren.

Carolyn was secretary to W.I. (Bill) Lee, Pastor, at North Side Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas for 15 years and has always remained active in church.  She was faithful to mission work, especially Operation Christmas Child.

Loved ones include husband of 62 years, Donald Gene; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Darlene Hendricks; son and daughter-in-law, Garren and Teresa Howard; three grandsons and their wives, as well as two great grandsons, Tyler and Tiffany Howard with their boys Graham and Parker, Scott and Gina Howard, and Aaron and Jasmine Howard; As well as many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Lyndon.

Family and friends will celebrate Carolyn’s life at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 7^th, 2022, at Park Drive Baptist Church, Levelland, Texas with Dr. David Rhoades and Gil Ramirez officiating.  Graveside Burial will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery. 

Viewing will be held at Krestridge Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas on Friday, May 6^th from 6:00-8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked contributions to be made to Operation Christmas Child through Park Drive Baptist Church in Carolyn’s honor as her calling and passion was to help children and those in need. She will be greatly missed.
