Carolyn Polasek

Carolyn Dale Polasek, 81, of Ropesville passed from this life on November 28, 2019. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 2, 2019, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at Fifth Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Ropesville Cemetery.

She was born August 18, 1938 in Levelland to parents, Barney E. and Lillie Thompson. Carolyn was a devoted housewife, mother and Grandma.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; son, Mike; four sisters; and three brothers.

She is survived by her son, Barney ''Gene'' and wife Loretta Polasek of Ropesville; daughter, Christa and husband Perry Redden of Lubbock; daughter-in-law, Mary Polasek of Levelland; grandchildren, James, Rachel, Susan, Kirstie, A.J., and Bre; and 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Texas Baptist Home for Children, 629 Farley Street, Waxahachie, Texas 75165.
