Carolyn Riney

Carolyn Lee Riney, 78,  of Lubbock passed from this life on Saturday, September 11, 2021.  She was born November 14, 1942 to I.W. “Dub” and Nanette Riney.  Carolyn lived most of her years in Ropesville while raising her two daughters and later moved to Lubbock after retirement.  She was employed at Frito Lay as a Quality Control Tech for 42 years.  Carolyn loved her family and would give her last dollar if it would help one of them.  She loved to play Bingo, Elvis music, and going to garage sales, always looking for a bargain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, I.W. and Nanette Riney and her brother, Perry Riney.

Those left to cherish her memory are sister, Gracie Ward; two daughters, Barbie Paul and husband Darrell and Sally Riney; five grandchildren, Kali Crawford, Joshua Paul, Braxton Riney, Bobby Riney, Isaac Riney and wife Kalynn; four great-granddaughters, Skylar, Kamryn and Kingsley, Dailyn; and numerous extended family and friends.

Graveside Service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday,  September 15, 2021 at Ropesville Cemetery, Ropesville, Texas, with Pastor Donovan Martin Officiating.

Visitation will Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Krestridge Funeral Home, 505 Austin Street, Levelland, Texas from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
