Christina Ramirez

Christina Ramirez of Levelland passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 46. She was born on September 30, 1979, in Monahans, Texas.

Christina was an extraordinary daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a devoted mother who would have done absolutely anything for her children, and she loved her grandchildren with the same deep and unconditional love. She shared a beautiful love story with her husband, JD Ramirez, that began in 1998. They were married in 2003 and built a life and family together, sharing a love that was enduring, remarkable, and deeply cherished by those who knew them.

She had a bright and colorful spirit and a special love for all things colorful, especially Lisa Frank. She also had a tremendous heart for animals. Christina was someone people could always count on. She showed up without hesitation for those who needed her, even while facing struggles of her own. She gave her love freely and wholeheartedly and made sure the people in her life knew how deeply they were cared for. Through years of illness, she never allowed her sickness to define her or take away her shine.

Above all, Christina knew the Lord and loved Him deeply. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now home with Him, free from sickness and pain. Her life will be remembered not for the hardships she endured, but for how deeply she loved and how deeply she was loved.

She is survived by her husband, JD Ramirez; her son, Diego Torres, and Diego’s wife, Samantha, along with their children, Dominic Torres, Catalina Torres, and Elijah Torres; and her daughter, Xandria Vance, and Xandria’s husband, Isaac Vance, with their child, Doc Vance. She is also survived by her father, Sammy C. Torres, and her mother, Isela Torres; her sister, Andrea Torres; and her brother, Sammy A. Torres, and his wife, Lacey Torres, and many nieces and nephews. Christina’s family was the center of her life, and she leaves behind a circle of loved ones who will continue to carry her love with them every day.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Tony Rosas; her paternal grandfather, Frank Torres; her paternal step grandfather, Ben Sanchez; and her paternal grandmother, Mercy Sanchez.

A visitation will be held on September 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Krestridge Funeral Home, 505 Austin Street, Levelland, Texas 79336. A rosary will follow from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Krestridge Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on September 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St Michael's Catholic Church, 316 E Washington St, Levelland, Texas 79336.

Christina Ramirez will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her love, faith, strength, and vibrant spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and friends always.
