Sandy Pierce, 77, of Levelland passed from this life on Saturday, June 16, 2017. There will be a private memorial at a later date.

Sandy was born June 26, 1939 in Memphis, Texas to Robert Stewart and Clara Bell Gillis. She grew up in Littlefield and married Tommy Gene Pierce on January 31, 1957.

She started her career as a business owner in 1981. Later in life, Sandy truly enjoyed cooking for her family, her Facebook, and spending time in her flower garden. Her last days were spent surrounded by her family.

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by her spouse of 60 years, Tommy Gene Pierce; two daughters and their spouses, Roxann and Greg Phillips, Cindy and Brian Thoms of Levelland; son & spouse, Monty and Sara Pierce of Carlsbad, NM; four grandchildren, Chad Pierce and mother, Mary Pierce, Shawn Phillips, Austin Thoms and Ali Thoms; three great grandchildren, Suede Pierce, Lux Pierce and Titus Phillips; her twin sister, Pauline Poff of Kerrville; sisters, Rita Parker of Lubbock, Wanda Williams of Littlefield; brothers, Billy Stewart of Arizona and Jerry Stewart of Arizona.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests memorial donations be made in memory of Sandy to South Plains Church, 1421 Cactus Drive, Levelland, Texas 79336.
