Danny Gregory

Funeral services for Danny K. Gregory, 63, of Levelland, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 4, at Krestridge Funeral Home with Elgin Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Danny passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.

Danny was born on September 23, 1955 to H.D. and Doris Williams Gregory in Ralls. He partnered with his mother, Doris, at South Plains Welding Supply, Inc. and specialized in Lincoln Welding repairs. He enjoyed bowling, darts and ping pong. He also enjoyed working on cars and going to the mountains and camping.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathryne Ann Gregory; one daughter, Lora Michelle Gregory; his father, H.D. Gregory; and his step-father, Jim Froman.

Danny is survived by one daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Gregory of Huntsville; one son, Harrison Daniel Gregory of Lubbock; his mother, Doris L. Froman of Levelland; his girlfriend and caregiver, Brenda Dodd of Muleshoe; one sister, La Nelle Caddell and husband Ed of Canyon; two brothers, Roy Gregory and wife Ann of Levelland and Sam Gregory and wife Jana of Lubbock; two step brothers, James Froman of Levelland, and Bobby Froman and wife Sharon of El Paso; one uncle, Laster Williams and wife Mary Jo of Lubbock; one aunt, Mary Martin and husband Bob of Spur; his four nephews, Kelly Caddell, Ty Gregory, Luke Gregory and Rob Gregory; his three nieces, Jennifer Bellis, Alyssa Gregory and Brenna Gregory; four great nephews; two great nieces; a host of cousins; and a load of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the H.D. Gregory Memorial Scholarship Fund, C/O South Plains College, 1401 College Ave, Levelland, Texas 79336.
