Eddie McCormick

Eddie Clinton McCormick, 68, of Sundown passed from this life on September 12, 2021.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 17, 2021, in the Sundown Cemetery.

He was born May 9, 1953 to George Clinton and Norma Jean McCormick.

Eddie was a gunsmith, truck driver, licensed small engine repairman, and pumper.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and telling stories from his throne.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Toni McKensie; and the love of his life, his wife, Donna McCormick.

Eddie is survived by his daughter, Mindy (Mike) Brattain; son, Bryan (Toni) McCormick; and precious granddaughters, Miranda (Blake) Akers, Ella McCormick, Allie McCormick and Michaela Brattain.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Eddie’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
