Eladio "Lalo" Zubriate Sr.

Eladio "Lalo" Zubriate, Sr., 74, of Levelland passed from this life on May 7, 2025. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 12, 2025, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.

Lalo was born February 16,1951 in San Antonio to Ezquiel and Angelita Guzman Mena. He married Lupe Perez on April 21, 1971. He was a lifelong mechanic and worked for Humphrey’s Used Cars and then spent the rest of his working career at Rink’s. Lalo loved antique cars, all kinds of flowers and trees and taking care of his home church’s yard. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, but his favorite girl was his beloved granddaughter, Hayzlie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ezquiel and Angelita Mena; mother-in-law, Juila Perez; brother, Ezquiel Mena Sr. and oldest son, Eladio Zubriate Jr.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Lupe Zubriate; son Eric Zubriate and wife, Whitney; sisters, Cindy Bush, Zoila Mena, Sylvia Mena; father in law, Jesse Perez Sr.; sister in laws, Mary Elmore and husband, Kevin and Terry Arriaga and husband, Jesse; brother in laws, Gilbert Perez and wife, Leanna and Jesse Perez Jr.; along with his granddaughters, Hayzlie Zubriate and Cameron Zubriate.
