Ernest Wayne Taggart, 89, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025. No services are scheduled at this time.
He was born to Gladys and Ernest Taggart on January 15, 1937.
He is survived by his son Hoyt Taggart and wife, Lisa of Levelland; daughter, Kelly Taggart of Burns, TN; stepchildren, Penny Peeples (Smallwood) of Dickson, TN; grandchildren, LaTisha Sheets (Smallwood), Steven Smallwood, Ashley Patterson (Kenley), Gavin Taggart, Kyndal Taggart; and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Ernest Taggart; wife, Wanda Taggart; son, Jay Taggart; stepson, Benny Smallwood.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Veterans Memorial or American Cancer Society.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to ShaRae Madewell, Victoria Ochoa, Ashley Jackson and Alejandra Segura for their compassionate and professional care.
