Francena Puente

Francena Marie Puente, 49, of Levelland passed from this life on October 7, 2020.   A visitation and time of reflection will be held from 6 - 8 PM, Monday, October 19, 2020 with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM.  The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, October, 20, 2020 in the Sanctuary of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Levelland, TX.  Interment will follow at Ralls Cemetery, Ralls, TX.

She was born October 16, 1970 in Machias, Maine to Vincent and Julia Merritt Maclean.  Francena was an avid basketball player and very competitive at any sport she played.

Francena married James Puente on December 22, 1992.  She loved her family and grandbabies immensely.  Francena was a restaurant manager and owner for many years.

She never met a stranger and treated everyone she met as her own family.  She was known as “Mom” to many.  Francena’s laughter and sense of humor were contagious.  She loved everyone and especially her God.

Francena was preceded in death by her father and mother, Vincent and Julia Maclean; and sister, Lorna Maclean.

She is survived by her husband, James Puente; son Brandon (Gloria) Puente; grandchildren, Julia Puente and Brandon Puente II; brother, Vinnie (Sally) Maclean; nieces, Jessica, Vanessa & Morgan and families; nephew, Russ Foss; parents-in-law, Policarpo Puente and Julia Puente; brother-in-law, Col. Anthony Puente and family; and sister-in-law, Terri Espinoza and family.
