Gary Northern

Gary Douglas Northern, 74, of Haskell, Texas passed from this life on February 15, 2018 in Haskell. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.

Gary was born December 14, 1943 in Quanah, Texas to parents T.D. and Annie Mae (Jackson) Northern. Gary retired from Mobile Oil in 1996 and also retired from the Texas Department of Corrections in 2006. He loved hunting and fishing. Gary was a member of Second Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Janice McCutchin of Lubbock.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Debbie Southerland and husband Bobby of Velma, Oklahoma; son, Jeff Northern and wife Laura of Levelland, Texas; sister, Annetta Collier and husband Larry of Destin, Florida; granddaughters, Brittany Condit of Velma, Oklahoma, Kourtany Sanner and husband Brandon of Velma, Oklahoma, Shelby Northern of Lipscomb, Texas; grandsons, Taylor Northern and wife Ashley of Midland, Texas; Tanner Southerland and wife Kylie of Velma, Oklahoma; six great grandchildren; and loving companion, Barbara Overman of Levelland, Texas.
