Gary Easton Price unexpectedly left his earthly family but met his heavenly Savior exactly as planned on Monday May 3, 2021. Services will be held Monday, May 17 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland with Pastor Jeff Leverton officiating . Burial will follow at Morton Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday, May 16 from 2-4 at Krestridge. They request that appropriate Covid precautions be taken.
Gary was born November 2, 1968 in Denver City, Texas. Adopted by Glynn and Barbara Price, he grew up on a farm near Morton, attended Morton Schools before he transferred to and graduated from Threeway High School in 1987. He briefly attended South Plains College, but returned to Morton to farm for a period of time. He had his CDL license and drove a truck. He then moved to Levelland and finally to Lubbock where he has lived for the past ten years.
Gary was a member of New Life United Pentecostal Church in Levelland. He enjoyed participating in drama productions at church. He became a single dad when his children were preschoolers, and raising them in the church was central to his life. He was overjoyed at becoming a grandfather in March. He always enjoyed history, both reading about it and watching movies. He was proud to be a Texan and could not understand why one would live anywhere else.
Gary is survived by daughter Tina Price Gregory and her husband Tristan and granddaughter Ginny of Colorado Springs, CO; son Landon Price of Lubbock; sister Jacque Price Tieszen and her husband Rod and their children Gemma, Rose and Rodney of Lubbock. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Harvey Price, his father Glynn Price and his grandparents Cliff and Lillie Harvey and Clyde and France Price.
The family suggests memorials to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1050 N. Post Oak Road, Suite 240, Houston TX 77055.
Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Krestridge Funeral Home. (806) 897-1111.
