Dink was born to Beulah Pierce Lenard and Travis Lenard in Kermit, Texas on September 8, 1951. Dink was a hard worker! He grew up surrounded by brothers, cousins, aunts and uncles whom all influenced Dink to be the caring and kind man we all know and love. Working his entire adult life in the oil field industry where he made many strong friendships, great memories and lots of Dink “style” stories to be told for years to come! He retired from Endeavor Energy on September 16th, 2019.
Dink loved his wife, fiery fast Ford Mustangs, soulful music, great food and was devoted to every last one of his family and friends. He knew no strangers, was always lending a helping hand and always - always trying to find his next project!
Dink is preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Pierce Lenard, father, Travis Lenard and his stepmother, Patsy Lenard.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Terri Lenard, multiple brothers and sisters, Carl Wayne Lenard, Bill Lenard, John Haas, Jan Pino (Rod Pino), Carla Monk (Butch Monk), Greg Cates (Caroline Cates). His Nana, Dorothy Cates, daughters and sons Michelle Holcomb (Randy Holcomb), Brian Catt (Angela Catt), Michelle Breshers (Anthony Breshers), Jason Catt (Mochi Catt) and 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and many more extended family members.
The family asks that his celebration of life is just that, a celebration of his life! Share memories amongst each other, share his stories with those that never knew him and share his kind soul by lending a hand to others in need just like Dink would do.
