George McCormick

George Clinton McCormick 96, of Sundown, Texas passed from this life Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 20, 2021 at Sundown Cemetery in Sundown, Texas.

George was born July 6, 1925 in Sulpher Springs, Texas to George Terry and Margie McCormack.

He loved to hunt and fish.  He loved to fish in Gorman and White River Lake.  George served in the Navy in WWII.  He was a member of the Church of Christ in Sundown TX.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife Norma Jean McCormick, and daughter, Toni McKensie.

He is survived by his son, Eddie McCormick, Sundown Texas; grandchildren, Mindy & Mike Brattain, Sundown Texas, Bryan & TJ McCormick, Sundown Texas,; Michael & Hayley Epke, San Tan Valley, Arizona and Clint Epke ,Texas; and 11 great grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers will be;  Ricky Thompson, Mike Brattain, Gene Berry, Michael Epke, Bryan McCormick and Jerry Cox.
