Gloria Jean (Wilson) Eller, age 95, of Levelland, TX passed away September 18th, 2025. She was born on August 12, 1930 in Estelline, TX to Fay Maudine (Ammons) Wilson and Luid Estell Wilson.
Jean grew up in Littlefield, TX where she met life-long friends and her dad owned the local lumberyard.
She married Robert Daniel Eller on October 21, 1950, in Clovis, NM. Together they shared the adventure of raising four boys. They lived in Las Vegas, NM where Robert built houses. After that they moved to Lubbock, TX to open a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop. Back then, Jean spent her days making ice cream cakes and "clown cones". Jean and Robert then moved to San Angelo, TX and opened another Baskin-Robbins. After they retired, Jean and Robert loved to take trips with friends and go to garage sales. Robert passed away on May 12, 2005, after 54 years of marriage. Jean then moved to Levelland, TX.
Jean is survived by her sons: Alan Eller and his wife Margaret, of Levelland, Brent Eller and his wife Maria, of San Angelo; Daughters-in-law: Susan Eller of Collierville, TN and Peggy Lande of Arizona; grandchildren: Ryan, Kami, Greg, Alan, Matthew, Scott, Jeremy, Crystal and several great-grandchildren; sister: Nell Robinson, of Hollis, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Eller; sons: Randy Eller and Mark Eller; grandson: Daniel Eller; her sister: Katherine "Kakie" Smith; and her brothers: Noel Edd Wilson and Charles Ned Wilson.
A private memorial service will be held at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, TX where she will be buried beside her husband.
