James Clifford Brockman

James Clifford Brockman, 68, of Levelland passed from this life on October 5, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born January 30, 1954 in Brownfield to David E. and Patsy Brockman.  James spent most of his childhood in Abernathy and Shallowater.  He moved to Hockley County in the 80’s.  After spending a short time in the 90’s in Fort Stockton, James returned to Hockley County and remained until his death.

James was a jack of all trades and a master of none.  He never met a stranger and was the king of garage sales and a gift giver to all.

He loved his dogs, fishing, boating, cigarettes and Coors Light.  James was known as Jimbo, Cleo, Jimmy, and his most beloved, Papa.  His family and extended family was his world and he loved them like no other.

James was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Eva.

He is survived by his children, Christi Bunch and husband John of Oklahoma City, Tommie Peters and husband Chuck of Torrington, Wyoming, Jamie Brockman of Lubbock, Jeff Harrell Brockman and wife Kristie Harrell of Lubbock, Coy Pigg and wife Lisa, Tammy Shirley and Karen Garrett all of Levelland; grandchildren, DeJay Curry, Bekin-Rose Bunch, Odin Bunch, Haleah Ritenour, Joseph Ritenour, Aryel Peters, Kylie Kuss, Madilyn Kuss, Holden Seymour, Justin Michael Peters, Vanessa, David, Rachel, Joe, Terry, Mikie, Tanji, Coy and Ashley; great grandchildren, Heavenly, Jerry, Donovan, Kiegan, Madison, Khloe, Kaitlyn, Bryson, Coy, and Kristin; and siblings, Patricia Moore and husband Jerry of San Angelo, David Brockman, Garland Brockman and wife Stephanie and Betty Jo Brackens and husband Luther all of Levelland.
