Jane Anne Mara

Jane Anne Mara, 64 of Levelland passed from this life on May 27,2024.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday May 31, 2024, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. 

She was born September 14,1959 in Gary, Indiana to James Edeus and Joyce Lathrop. Jane grew up and spent her younger years in Rocky Falls, Illinois. She married James Mara on November 10,1979 in Davenport, Iowa. Jane was a homemaker who loved raising her two girls. She really enjoyed being around her cats and dogs.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include husband, Jim Mara of Levelland; daughters, Julianne Mara of Portland, Oregon and Jennifer Mara (Dustin) of Levelland; brothers, Jimmy Edeus (Kim), Ed Handel (Jolie) and Tim Handel (Trina) along numerous nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her dearly.
