Jerry Haile

Jerry Don Haile, 63, of Levelland passed from this life on April 21, 2019 in Lubbock. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born January 12, 1956 in Levelland to parents, James and Dorothy (Nations) Haile. He married Tana Fitzgerald on August 30, 1975. Jerry worked in the oilfield most of his life. He was a member of Four Square Church.
Jerry enjoyed his time doing wood work, fishing, and watching his grandkids play sports. He was a father when his grandkids needed one.

He was and always will be the family's rock. Jerry was the kindest man and never turned anyone away if they needed anything. He was one of the toughest men you will ever meet and fought all the way to the end. Jerry never complained about the hand he was dealt.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Nations Haile, and brother, Elton Eugene.

He is survived by his wife, Tana Haile; children, Misti Haile, Sandi (Travis) Hunt, Jerry (Rachel) Haile, Jr., and Art Haile; father, James Haile; sisters, Kathy Jerome, Pat Coffman, and Donette Haile; grandchildren, Tanner Anderson, Selena Reed, Tessa Anderson, Aspen Verschueren, Eadon McPhie, Carlos McPhie, Zoey Hunt, Jazmin Haile, Fayth Haile, Heavenly Haile, Jerry Haile III, Donaven Haile, and Xander Haile; great grandchildren, Daya, Lenee, Jordyn, and Baby Anderson.
