Jimmy Clewis

Jimmy David Clewis, 61, of Levelland passed from this life on May 6, 2019 in Lubbock. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Austin Street Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born March 19, 1958 in Sundown to D.C. and Lorean Clewis. Jimmy farmed for many years. He was a member of the Austin Street Church of Christ.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Clewis, Willie James Clewis, John Robert Clewis, L.C. Clewis, and Bobby Ray Clewis; and sisters, Lueretta Clewis and Rubbie Lee Clewis.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; children, Derek and Erica Jefferson, Joshua and Natasha Clewis, Jason Clewis, and Jina and James Tademy; brother, Henry (Sara) Clewis; sisters, Dorothy (Clarence) Hurd, Joyce (Robert) Clewis-Huey, and Ethel Mae (Earnest) Hall; and 13 grandchildren.
