Johnnie Currington

Johnnie Lee Currington, 82, of Lubbock, Texas passed from this life on September 21, 2016 in Lubbock. She was born November 4, 1933 in Wortham, Texas to George Howard and Iva Lee (Marriot) Huddleston.

Johnnie married the love of her life, C. A. Currington, January 9, 1949 in Emhouse, Texas. Together they made their home in Levelland where she was a cosmetologist for many years.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her loving husband, C. A. Currington, children; Ronnie Currington and wife, JoAnn, Ted Currington and wife, Jan, Pam Bryant and husband, Ricky, Mark Currington and wife Amy,
13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; sister, Judy Stephens; several nephews, nieces and a host of friends.

Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Kirkwood and brother, Glenn Huddleston.

Family visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Krestridge Funeral Home.
Funeral services to honor Johnnie's life will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the West Texas Church at the Barn in Lubbock with Pastor Ted Currington officiating, interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery.
