Jose Galindo

Jose Enrique Galindo, 85, of Levelland passed from this life on November 3, 2019. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Austin Street Church of Christ.

He was born July 23, 1934 in Fresnillo Zacatecas, Mexico to parents, Anselmo and Juana (Perez) Galindo. Jose married Erlinda Rodriguez on December 13, 1958. He became a US citizen on April 24, 1985.

Jose was employed 48 years at G & C Contracting. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Teresa Galindo and Chavela Galindo; brothers, Antonio Perez and Simon Martinez; son, Earnest Galindo; and grandson, Nicholas Garza.

Jose is survived by his wife, Erlinda; children, Mary Galindo, Margie Galindo, Louise Zuniga, Ricky (Rita) Galindo, and Paty (Fred) Garza; sister, Maria Galindo; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Jose's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
