Joyce Davis

Joyce Nell Davis, 86, of Levelland passed from this life on July 26, 2020.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 31, 2020, at First United Methodist Church.  Interment will be held at 2:00 pm in the Hale Center Cemetery.

She was born October 22, 1933 in Hale Center, Texas to Willard and Jewell Wright.  Joyce was a dedicated mother first and foremost.  She was always there for her children and embraced every moment with them.  Joyce especially loved her role as GG.

Joyce’s life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses; Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon Davis; and son, Russell Davis.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Neva Taylor and husband J.L. of Levelland, and Rhonda Padgett and husband Ron of Curtis, Nebraska; brother, Cecil Wright and wife Pat; sister, Wilma Wells; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2great great grandchildren.
