Juan Rosa

Juan ''Johnny'' De La Rosa, 56, of Sundown passed from this life on November 28, 2019. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 6, 2019, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born December 14, 1962 in Maple, Texas to parents, Fidel and Theodola (Ornelas) De La Rosa. Johnny grew up in Enochs, Texas and graduated from Three Way High School in 1982. He lived life to the fullest.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Fidel Chavez De La Rosa on August 23, 1985; mother, Theodola Ornelas De La Rosa on July 22, 2015; and brothers, Robert De La Rosa on February 21, 2014 and David De La Rosa on September 11, 2019.

He is survived by his children, Debra (Jerry) Escobar of Sundown, Megan De La Rosa of Hobbs, and Kevin (Nathan) De La Rosa of Lubbock; grandchildren, Alexandria Escobar and Jocelynn Escobar, both of Sundown; his siblings, Samuel (Janie) De La Rosa of Levelland, Oralia (Raul) Munoz of Artesia, Virginia (Joe) Honesto of Greeley, and Benjamin de la Rosa of Whiteface.
