Juanita Mounce

Juanita Jo Mounce, 62, of Sundown passed from this life on October 10, 2021. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Sundown Church in Sundown, TX with Pastor Parker Lattimer officiating.

She was born July 5, 1958 to Foy and Leona May Gunter in Brownfield.  Jo loved crocheting and doing embroidery work.  She enjoyed putting puzzles together of Indians, horses, and western scenes.  Jo loved her dog, Buffy.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Tommy Gunter.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Tom; brothers, Larry and Olan Ray; sister, Katherine and husband Allen of Abilene; brother-in-law, Gerald Mounce and wife Mary of Dallas.
