Judy Lee Durrett

Judy L. Durrett, 83, of Levelland passed away March 26, 2026, in Levelland. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at Krestridge Funeral Home on Thursday April 2, 2026, beginning at 2 PM. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Judy was born November 1st, 1942, in Lubbock County to Glen and Maxine Osborn. Judy graduated from Levelland High School in 1961. She lived in Whitharral, TX, and farmed for 30 years where she raised cotton, horses and kids and then another 25+ years at Walmart in Levelland. Judy truly loved and adored her children, grandchildren, working the land at Whitharral, and her engagement with the public at Walmart. To her children, sisters and friends, she was a rock. Incredible strength of character and an incrediblework ethic defined Judy, and she always made time to help anyone in need.

Judy is survived by her children, Mike Durrett and wife Karen Durrett of Whitharral and their children: a son Jordan Barker and wife Rachel of Waco, daughter Sara Gresham and husband Heath Gresham of Levelland, and daughter-in-law Stephanie Hodge. Judy’s daughter Cindy Newsom and husband Steve Newsom of Levelland and their children, daughter Raenee and husband Sawyer Seibel of Lubbock, son Keegan Newsom and wife Kandace of Lubbock. Judy’s youngest daughter Kimberly Durrett of Lubbock and her children, son Kendall Durrett and wife Mayce of Levelland and daughter Keely Taylor of Levelland. Four sisters: Shirley Blevins of Whitesboro, TX, Mildred Herrington of Van, TX, Bobbie Johnson of Las Vegas, NV, and Gayle Summers of Snyder, TX. She also had 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son,Timothy Durrett and grandson, Dustin Hodge.
