June Helen Ellison

June Helen Altman Ellison, 88, of Levelland went to her eternal home with Jesus on July 4, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 10:00am at Fifth Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

She was born on October 16, 1936, to Homer and Juanita Altman in Rotan, TX. She was the secretary for Rex’s Salvage & Bit Service. She worked alongside James and Janelle Stanley for many years at the superette. She was a lifelong member of 5th Street Baptist Church.

June is proceeded in death by her husband Rex, along with her children Buddy and Debbie Ellison, brothers Smokey & Bob Altman, sisters Jolene and Betty Altman.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Eric Ellison (Carie), Bryce Ellison, Keely Manney (Jordan), Logun Saenz (Alicia); great grandchildren Kyler Villarreal, Croy Ellison, Sophia Ellison, sister Dorothy Gray, cousins Jim and Louann Ellison, nephew Bobby Altman, daughter in law Karon Ellison Doshier, along with many other church members, family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Fifth Street Baptist Church.
