Karen D. Daniel

Karen Derice (Scott) Daniel,64, of Levelland went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 7, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Second Baptist Church of Levelland. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

She was born on January 12, 1960 to Bill and Essie Scott.  Karen was a graduate of Levelland High School.  She then went on to Nursing School at South Plains College.  She was a Nurse for 43 years.  She loved cooking and spending time with her family.  Karen also was a wonderful pianist and singer.   She loved the Lord and loved helping others.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Essie Scott and her brothers, Billie Steve (Scotty), Jerry Lynn, and Jeff.  

Karen is survived by her children, Tisha and Daniel Morris of Lubbock and Brandon McCraw of Levelland; sister, Jan and Frank Anderson of Whitharral, and brother, Joe and Cathy Scott of Lubbock; grandchildren, Chaela (Juan), Evelynne (Caleb), Kenzie, Melanie, Ethan, Stocton, and Anaya; great-grandchildren Drue and Dylann and many nieces and nephews.

Karen was dearly loved by her family, friends, and the many patients that she served.
