Kay Pinkert

Kay Pinkert, 68, of Levelland passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at her home. A family visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 3, 2016 in the Chapel at Krestridge Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Kay was born on October 29, 1948 in San Angelo, Texas to parents Jesse and Miriam (Sims) Eblen. Kay married Wayne Pinkert on July 10, 1981. She worked as Assistant County Treasurer for Hockley County from 1981-1995. Kay enjoyed fishing, crocheting and crossword puzzles.

Preceding her in death are her mother, Miriam ''Momie'', brother Joval Eblen and sister Anne Humphrey.

Left to treasure her memory are her husband, of 35 years, Wayne; sons, John Les Key and wife Leslie of Levelland, and Keith Key and wife Jewel of Brownfield; daughters, Sharon Pinkert and partner Jennifer Fletcher of Aurora, Colorado, and Amy Collins and husband Joe of Plainview; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Krestridge Funeral Home.
