Leslie Ragan, Sr.

Leslie Jack Ragan Sr., 73, of Levelland went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 22, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 1:00 pm at South Plains Church, 1421 E. Cactus Drive, Levelland.

He was born in Hobart, Oklahoma to Roy Benjamin and Opal Emily (Baker) Ragan on December 11, 1945. Leslie was the second born of 5 children. He was an entrepreneur for the last 30 years in West Texas and it gave him the opportunity to travel and see the great USA.

Leslie was preceded in death by his father, Roy Ragan.

He is survived by his mother, Opal Ragan; his wife, Karen Ragan; his children, Jack Ragan and wife Wyndy, Shelia Padgett and husband Mack, Jimmy Ragan and wife Angie, and Tammy Winn and husband Johnny; brother, Charles Ragan; sisters, Shirley Hankins and husband Mike, Janice Slivka and husband Dave, and Linda Mann and husband David; grandchildren, Matthew Ragan, Latasha Mendoza, Anthony Ragan, Jordan Ragan, Courtney Ungaro, Ariell Abramovita, Harrison Ragan, Jade Griffiths, John Ragan, Joshua Ragan, Jacen Ragan, Braxton Ragan; and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Les requested that gifts be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital as he believed children should not suffer from cancer and his heart was to help them.
