Lowell Strickland

Lowell Dudley Strickland, 72, of Levelland passed from this life on January 8, 2018 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.

Dudley was born November 25, 1945 in Granite, Oklahoma to parents J.B. and Willie Mae Strickland. He married Ida Vasquez on December 20, 1985.

He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and a self-employed truck driver at Ida Strickland Trucking Company.

Dudley was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lawanna Faye; and brothers, Jerry Strickland and Arthur D. Strickland.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ida Strickland; children, Michael and Clydia Strickland, Deidra Houston and fiancée Reyes Hinojosa, Jr., Sandra and Curtis Love, Rita and John Drawhorn, Benjamin Romo, and Juan Romo and Chrystal Foster; sister, Debbie Pigg; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
