Lynda Carol Hart

Lynda Hart, 78, of Levelland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 26, 2022.  Lynda was born June 16, 1943 to Alton and Francis Brewster in Portales, NM.  She grew up in Stratford, TX and graduated, Salutatorian, of the class of 1961. 

Lynda married Glynn Naugle in 1961 in Stratford and they had three boys.  She married Mike Hart on April 26, 1986 in Lubbock.  Lynda worked for TCI Paint Co. in Lubbock for ten years as Assistant Manager.  Lynda and Mike farmed at Pettit for twenty-six years.  They retired from farming in 2014. 

Lynda and Mike are long time members of College Avenue Baptist Church.  Lynda was an amazing cook and really enjoyed cooking with her grandkids and spending time with all of her family.  She was a member of the “Red Hat” group and she and Mike liked to spend time out on the dance floor.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband Mike; sister Lana Smith (Benny) of Guymon, OK; children: William Naugle (Brenda) of Lake Havasu, AZ; David Naugle (Lavaul) of Las Vegas, NV; Doug Naugle of Austin, TX; Donna Hargrove of Levelland, Beverly Sosa (Eddie) of Lubbock; Steven Hart (Tiffany) of Muleshoe; and Andy Hart (Ollie) of Abernathy. 

Grandchildren: Natalie Naugle, Evie Naugle, Kayla Ochoa, Jennifer Hargrove, Jamie Mills (Jeremy), Magen Lujan (Chris), Brittany Sternfeld (Josh), Matthew Hargrove (Sawyer), Nathan Sosa, Jennifer Sosa, Kaitlynn Hart, Payton Hart, Mason Hart, Kellin Hart and 11 great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home.   Lynda’s celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at College Avenue Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

The family requests donations to College Avenue Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
