Manuela Guerrero

Manuela Guerrero, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, in Lubbock, TX, at the age of 81. Born on September 1, 1943, in Artesia, NM, she lived a full life dedicated to her family and faith.

Manuela was united in marriage to Eulogio Guerrero, Sr. on July 13, 1963, in Artesia, NM. Together, they shared a remarkable journey through life, filled with love and support for one another, until his passing. Manuela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose legacy will continue to inspire her family for generations to come.

She is survived by her loving children: Eulogio (Vicky) Guerrero, Jr. of Levelland, TX; Dolores (Lupe) Sepulbeda of Whiteface, TX; Carlos (Eva) Guerrero of Whiteface, TX; Luis Guerrero of Levelland, TX;  Ana Guerrero of Levelland, TX; and Sandy "Kelly" Harley of Littlefield, TX. Her dedication to her family is further reflected in her role as a grandmother to 16 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 19 great-grandchildren.

Manuela is also survived by her siblings, including Lupe Herrera of Roswell, NM; Monie (Sid) Perez of Levelland, TX; Juanita "Janie" (Greg) Morales of Morton, TX; and Jesse (Rita) Huerta of Levelland, TX. Their bonds of sisterhood and brotherhood were a source of strength and joy throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Eulogio Guerrero, Sr., and her parents, Luis and Juanita Huerta. Manuela was also mourned by her deceased sister, Romona Rodriguez, her brother, Andres "Andy" Huerta, and her nephew, Joshua Rodriguez.

Manuela Guerrero will be remembered for her unwavering love, her generosity, and her deep commitment to family. Her spirit will continue to live on within the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. "Grief is only love that's got no place to go." The Guerrero family would like to thank everyone for all of their condolences, thoughts and prayers at our time of grievance.

Services to honor Manuela's life and legacy will be held at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland, TX. A visitation will take place on August 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at St. Michael's Catholic Church on August 29, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM.
