Margaret Ruzich

Margaret “Maggie” Ruzich, 87, of Levelland passed from this life on May 12, 2020.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2020, in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

She was born October 24, 1932 in Littlefield to Samuel  John and Beatrice Lee (Wooten) Baucom.  Maggie married Andy Ruzich in 1956 and celebrated their 64 ^th anniversary in heaven on May 13, 2020.  She was a housewife for many years and later worked at JC Penney’s and WalMart.

Maggie enjoyed sitting on her back porch with Andy, watching the birds and drinking he coffee.  She had 3 very special fur babies, Lady, Mollie and her one boy, Charlie Brown. Maggie was a member of Park Drive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Beatrice Baucom; brothers, Joe and Bill Baucom; sister, Dorothy Brotherton; husband, Andy Ruzich; son, Bobby Ruzich; granddaughters, Natalie and Susan Ruzich; and grandson, Jason Patton.

Maggie is survived by daughters, Dianna Platt of Sunray, Dorothy (Joe) Richardson of Sundown, and Annie (Tony) Cardona of Denton; brothers, Sam Baucom of Amarillo and Don (Shirley) Baucom of Wimberley; sister, Judy Wright of Salinas, CA.; 9 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 24 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Margaret “Maggie” Ruzich be made to Park Drive Baptist Church, 107 County Road, Levelland, Texas 79336, or a charity of your choice.
