Martha Burton

Martha Sue (Brockman) Burton, 76, of Lubbock went home to her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2020 at Covenant Medical Center.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 6, 2020, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born June 6, 1946 to Sonny and Opal Brockman in Velasco, Texas.  Martha was a dedicated servant to others.  She worked many years serving others in the Texas State School system, MHMR facilities, Covenant Medical Center and the Montford unit.

Martha is survived by daughter, Sharon of Lubbock; son and daughter in law, Scott and Becky of Amarillo; son, Keith of Lubbock; brother and sister in law, Larry and Millie Brockman of Levelland; her pride and joy – grandchildren, Bryce and wife Taylor Burton of Amarillo, and Brock Burton and girlfriend Sarah Garcia of Amarillo; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Barbara Harmon.

The family would like to thank Lakeridge Rehabilitation Center for their love and care of Martha over the last seven months.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or Special Olympics.
