Martha Morris

Martha Ann Rhymes Morris, 91, of Levelland and formerly of Seagraves, passed from this life on September 21, 2020.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 26, 2020, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Seagraves Cemetery.

She was born November 7, 1928 in Houghton, Louisiana to Samuel Lawrence and Ethel Goodwin Rhymes.  Ann graduated from Seagraves High School in 1945.  She married Walter Harlan Morris on October 17, 1947.  Ann was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Seagraves, and under Watch Care at Second Baptist Church in Levelland.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Syble Humphrey-Opeil; and nieces, Glenda Tedford and Linda Hayes.

She is survived by her nieces, Sharon VanWinkle of Salado, Texas and Karen Humphrey of Phoenix, Arizona; and her long time adopted family, Jon-Roy Ramsour and family of Levelland.
