Nathan Patterson

Nathan Paul Patterson born April 1,1985, passed away July29, 2017 at the age of 32. Nathan was one of God's teachers of grace. He was a symbol and a reminder that we are all valued in the eyes and purposes of God. He was a teacher of love and compassion, humor and humility and had a steadfast heart.

He leaves behind his parents Steve and Marion of Ropesville and three brothers: Seth and Benjamin of Denver, Colorado; Jeremy and wife Cora of Phoenix, Arizona. Those who also loved him are his uncles and aunts and his cousins, who are many. Nathan suffered throughout his entire life with untreatable epilepsy and severe mental retardation. His mother, Marion, was his faithful caregiver day and night for 32 years always supported by his father.

He attended school in Shallowater, Texas and is remembered fondly by his teachers and fellow students there.

We grieve not for Nathan, since he has been made whole, but for us because of the large empty place left in our lives.

A Graveside Service will take place at 10AM on Tuesday August 1,2017 at City of Levelland Cemetery. A Memorial Service will follow at College Avenue Baptist Church, 213 North College Ave. Levelland, TX at 11AM.
