Ofelia Gutierrez, 94, of Levelland passed from this life on Monday, May 22, 2017, in Levelland. The Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 26, 2017, at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Ernesto Lopez officiating. Burial will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Ofelia was born May 2, 1923 in Seymour, Texas to parents Agapito and Sanjuana Zapata. She was a lifelong Catholic.

Survivors include her children, Romeo Gutierrez, Rosa (Manuel) Ruiz, Alicia Hernandez, Gus (Irene) Gutierrez, Ramona (Ascension) Morales, Sammy (Teresa) Gutierrez, Armando (Lucy) Gutierrez, Nelda (B.J.) Castillo, Ruben (Oralie) Gutierrez and Becky Hernandez; 2 brothers; 1 sister; 49 grandchildren; and 96 great grandchildren.
