Rosine Price

Rosine Price, 83, of Levelland received her wings on Saturday, November 25, 2017, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until Noon on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Rosine was born on September 28, 1934 to Johnny Lee Rose and Mary Angelina (Delese) Rose. She graduated from Levelland High School. Rosine married Doyle Lee Price on October 25, 1951.

She worked for Retail Merchants Association, and later on she worked for Mary's Antiques and Fine Gifts until retirement. Rosine was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Rosine used to crochet, loved to play the slot machines, and loved her ''scratch off runs''. She would always tell family and friends, ''I'm good at gambling, but not so good at winning.'' She would always finish with a wink and a laugh. Rosine loved her family and getting out and riding around with her sister, Lois.

She loved to talk to everyone. Rosine seldom complained about anything. She would always start a conversation with, ''What's going on Shuggy?'', and end it with ''Do you need anything? Don't you go without.'' She was a very caring and loving person to everyone and loved to visit with everyone that came in the store or stopped by the house.

Rosine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doyle Price; brother, Johnny Paul Rose and sister-in-law Judy Rose; and sisters, Joyce Helstrom and Darla Rose Hainey.

She is survived by her her only child, Suzanne (Price) Grand and husband Keith Grand of Moss Point, Mississippi; one granddaughter, Bianca Le'Ann (Bridges) Churchwell and husband Charles Churchwell of Spring Dale, Arkansas; 3 great grandchildren, Makenzie Rose Witt,Damian Michael Mancillas, and Allie Reece Churchwell; sister, Lois Jourden and husband Allen Jourden of Levelland; 4 brothers, Jerry Rose and wife Karen Rose of McAlester, Oklahoma, Jim Rose and wife Betty from Hartshome, Oklahoma, Rick Rose and wife Sandi from Hartshome, Oklahoma, and Danny Rose of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Rosine was extremely close to her many nieces and nephews: Karen Durrett, Rusty Rose, Dana Gilbert (her God Child), Jill Timms, Lee Jourden, Steve Helstrom, Michelle Denham, Joni Griffith and the late Justin Rose, Suni Williamson and the late Rory Rose, Emily Williams, Katy Rose Pritchard, Ross Rose, Staci Rose, Todd Rose, Brent Rose, Angel Rose, and Raina Rose.
