Saul Hernandez

Saul Meraz Hernandez, 44, of Levelland passed away on April 18, 2017. Visitation will be Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Sunday, April 23, 2017, beginning at 12:00 pm, with Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 24, 2017, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with visitation from 12:00 -1:30 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Saul was born July 4, 1972 in Morton, Texas to parents Edwvigez Meraz Hernandez and Torivio Hernandez. He married Rosalinda Martinez Hernandez in Morton on January 3, 1995. He came from a big family and spent all of his youth and young adulthood in Morton. In 2003, Saul relocated to Levelland and for many years worked at Worley Welding.

In May of 2010, he was given a son, Angel, who was called home. Three years later, Saul was blessed with a daughter, Natalia. His world revolved around her and his wife. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle.

Saul is preceded in death by his son, Angel Hernandez.

Saul is survived by his loving wife, Rosalinda; beautiful daughter, Natalia Isabel; parents, Edwvigez and Torivio Hernandez; brothers, Sammy of Liberal, KS, Adam of Smyer, Jose of Levelland, Jesus of Ropes, Toby of Levelland, and Noel of Guymon. Oklahoma; sisters, Rosa Hernandez of Morton, Lucy Ornelas of Platteville, Co, Vicki Munoz of Monahans, Melissa Smith of Florida, Mary Salazar of Levelland, and Melinda Hernandez of Levelland; numerous nieces, nephews and great nephews from both sides of the family.
