Sherri Lynn Johnson

Sherri Lynn Foster Johnson,60,of Levelland passed from this life on January 19, 2024.Born to Frank and Glynes Foster in Clovis, NM. Sherri lived in Clovis, Aztec, Las Vegas and Chama, NM.  

Upon graduation from high school, she moved to Levelland to study accounting at SPC. Sherri worked at Parkinson’s Levelland Answering Service then became office manager at Gentry Ford for many years.  Later she worked for Bass Enterprises and Lee Transports in Sundown, then SLB in Levelland.  She worked the last 5 years or so at Swabco for the McInroe family.

Sherri was a very accomplished athlete in track, volleyball, basketball, softball and loved playing golf at all the area courses.  She was married to Jackie Johnson from Whiteface from 1983-1991.

Survivors include her mother, Glynes Foster from Granbury, brother Doug and his wife Kelly at their ranch in NM.

Sherri always tried to live by the “Golden Rule”; treating others as she wanted to be treated.

She wanted no funeral services, so there will be none. Her cremated remains will be scattered upon the family’s ranch in NM as per her wishes.

The family is very thankful to the McInroe family; Smoke, Ross, Brandi and Patty, and the entire Swabco team for their compassion and care provided during the last few months of Sherri’s health issues.
