Shirley Alexander

Shirley Joan Alexander, 80, of Levelland passed from this life on June 19, 2019. Services were held on Friday, June 21, 2019, at the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Cherry of Hillside Christian Church officiating. Interment followed at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

She was born May 7, 1939 in Steele, Missouri to parents, Addie Elizabeth and Roy Bixler. Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church in Canalou, Missouri.

Shirley was a full spirited woman that loved adventure and Bingo. She was a well-known waitress that never met a stranger. Everyone she met knew her as Nannie. Shirley's pride and joy were her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roy Keith Scott; brothers, Charles Bixler and Joe B. Bixler; and sister, Annette Dismuke.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Debra Johnson; brother, James Bixler; sister, Sue Smith; grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Chanda Tidwell, Chelsea Johnson, Christopher Scott, Sierra Scott, and Alex Johnson; and great grandchildren, Kelton Johnson, Tea' Johnson, Madisyn Tidwell, Mason Tidwell, Riley Johnson, Saydi Mendez, William Scott, Augustus Scott, Jayci Tienda, and Brynli Tienda.
