Thomas Tienda

Thomas Herrera Tienda, 54, of Levelland passed from this life on December 28, 2021.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a Rosary being held at 6:00 on Sunday, January 2, 2022,  at Krestridge Funeral Home.

Thomas, a lifelong resident of Levelland and member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, was born May 10, 1967 to Nicolas and Marie Tienda.  He grew up working in the family business, Tienda’s Tortilla Factory.

He loved doing yard work and drawing.  Thomas had a huge heart, enjoyed and always helped others out, including the elderly with minor repairs and yard work.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Marie Tienda; brother, Edward Tienda; sister-in-law, Kimberly Tienda; and grandparents, Nicolas and Sara Tienda and Antonio and Francisca Herrera.

He is survived by daughter, Diamond Marie Tienda of Lubbock; son, Thomas Edward Tienda of Levelland; sister, Angela Tienda Catt and husband Brian of Levelland; grandchildren, Ruby Ann Marie Tienda, Guadalupe Tienda and Maxamillion Claudio DeLosSantos; nieces, Tiffany (Joe) Tienda of Lubbock, Angelica (Anthony) LeCroy of Levelland and Acileana Catt of Levelland; nephews, Edward James Tienda of Lubbock, Gary Grant, Jr. of Levelland, Michael Grant of Levelland, Nicholas (Sofia) Grant of Levelland and Jacky Catt of Levelland; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Thomas was greatly loved and will be missed immensely.
