Virginia Altman

Graveside services for Virginia Joan Wolf Altman, 83, of Clovis will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3 at the City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home of Levelland, Texas. She passed away on March 29, 2021 in Clovis, New Mexico.

Virginia was born on May 11, 1938 to Lawrence and Joanne Wolf in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Long Beach, California. She married Bobby Altman on November 3, 1956 in Los Angeles, California.

In addition to raising four children, Virginia partnered with Bob in running several successful businesses including Bottom Dollar Shoes and the Rag Shop clothing store in Levelland and B&V Vending in Abilene, Texas.

Upon retirement, Bob and Virginia moved to Coleman, Texas and enjoyed many years of peaceful, ranch life. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Bobby in 2017. She is survived by sons Chester Altman and Bobby Altman Jr, daughters Cynthia Austin and Cheryl Carroll; sisters Gloria Crowley and Marilyn Wolf; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
