Virginia Esparza Longoria

Virginia Esparza Longoria, 74, a Lubbock resident passed away November 19, 2025 in Lubbock. Virginia was born September 22, 1951 in Levelland to Thomas Esparza and Hermnenejilda (Hilda) Estrada. Virginia retired in 2010 from a career of caring for disabled individuals. Viriginia spent her retirement traveling with her children, living in Hawaii and aboard in Germany.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her sisters, Dolores Chavarria and Patricia Esparza. Virginia's family tree expanded beautifully, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and connection. Surviving her are her brothers, Thomas Jr. Esparza of Idalou and Julian Esparza of Levelland, who continue her story.

Virginia is survived by her children: Roy (Janie) Longoria of Lubbock, Virginia Garcia of Lubbock, Miguel (Francesca) Garcia of Centennial, Colorado, and Melissa Garcia of Arlington. She was a proud grandmother to Jacob Cavazos, Destiny Cavazos, Desarai Escobedo, Cody Escobedo, Kevin Longoria, Candra Longoria, Riley Krahmer, and Jeremiah Krahmer, who brought immense joy into her life. Additionally, she was a great-grandmother to Daniel Rangel and Kyson Jimenez, and she cherished her role in their lives.

Memorial services for Virginia will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:00AM at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland.
